One thousand, four hundred and forty-three vehicles were checked during the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department's latest driving under the influence check point, leading to six arrests.

During the July 3rd check point, located at the intersection of Main Street and 7th Avenue, 12 vehicles were towed and 12 citations were issued for various vehicle violations.

Four arrests were made for driving under the influence, one was made for an outstanding arrest warrant, and one for possession of false identification documents.

The goal of the checkpoint was to locate intoxicated, unlicensed, and unrestrained drivers.
