A Hesperia resident discovered the body of a missing woman on his porch this past Sunday.

Delores Maria Langdo, a 43-year-old resident of Hesperia, was found dead on the porch of a house on Coleridge Rd. in Hesperia on Sunday, July 8.

The part-time resident of the house called in the discovery just before 2 p.m.

Deputy Ron Sodaro was the first to respond, but due to the "unusual circumstances," the sheriff department's homicide division responded as well.

During the course of the investigation, the coroner's office identified the woman as one who had been reported missing in the same general area two days before.

Langdo was last seen on the 6th, leaving her house for a walk through the desert. The body was found in a decomposed state; however, it is not yet known how long the body was there.

An autopsy by the coroner will determine the cause of death later this week. The findings will determine what actions are taken next in this case.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the Hesperia Police Department at 957-1500, or call WE-TIP at 1-800-782-7463.
