A motorist was carjacked near the intersection of Keypointe Drive and Main Street on Thursday.

The motorist was at a gas station Thursday night at shortly before 9 p.m. when he offered a ride to a hitchhiker, who said he was going to Fontana. After driving a short distance, the hitchhiker then allegedly pulled a knife and told him to get out of the car, near the intersection of Escondido Avenue and Ranchero Road.

The carjacking suspect is described as a white male adult, 6' tall, in his late thirties, with a shaggy goatee and blond hair, wearing faded black or gray jeans. He was last seen driving the victim's beige 2002 GMC Sonoma, California license plate 6X84856.
