Mr. Jim Pace as the Hesperia Teachers Association president, you say the recall effort needs to check the facts? You need to check your facts before writing to the newspaper.

You do not need a signed contract to show that Robert Kirk, Hardy Black and Lee Rogers voted on a 3 to 2 vote to move forward the WLC construction and the Margaret Sepp contracts.

Also the WLC Construction's contract was not 100 million dollars; it was a little over 7 million dollars. Also Margaret Sepp's contract was for up to 36 months at 10,000 dollars per month for a total of 360,000 dollars not 350,000. Also if Margaret Sepp did not have an agreement of some kind with the district, then why did Robert Kirk, Hardy Black and Lee Rogers vote on another 3 to 2 vote to pay her 281.00 dollars for contract expenses.

At the July 23, 2007 school board meeting, in the public comment time, Robert Kirk, Hardy Black and Lee Rogers were all legally served with the NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE RECALL PETITION. Later that evening after being served the recall notices, the new school board decided to overturn the decision on the contracts with WLC Construction and Margaret Sepp.

The damage that the Hesperia Teachers Association's union supported school board is causing is unnecessarily destroying this community. Who should be apologizing to the community is Robert Kirk, Hardy Black, Lee Rogers and the Hesperia Teachers Association union for getting us into this situation and putting all of us through this.
