Concern over MWA proposal
Here are four reasons why we should not allow the Mojave Water Agency to pump 40,000-acre feet of water from Hesperia's water system:

1. This agreement may, in the future, stop both Hesperia and Apple Valley from being able to continue their organized growth due to lack of water. Kirby Brill, in a newspaper article, states California Aqueduct Water may not be reliable over the next few decades.

2. We will replacing the good water we now have with water that is not as good.

3. Kirby Brill says a bond issue will be needed in the billions of dollars replace our water. Our property taxes will have to be raised to pay for these bonds.

4. If Victorville is going to take away Hesperia's water in order to continue its building in the Baldy Mesa area and building its new power plant, then, rightfully, all expenses for these should be paid for by the City of Victorville itself and the Building Companies directly involved in this process.
