With lively music as a backdrop, performers from Born Again & Delivered Disciples dramatized lives renewed. There was a puppet show by Deb and her Puppets, a concert by the band Vertical Worship and tasty treats supplied by a quartet of neighboring businesses in the Hesperia Plaza.

Although last Saturday's festivities officially celebrated the one-year anniversary of Agape Christian Store, it was about so much more. It was about honoring the birth and eternal life of Jesus Christ, according to Agape co-owner Ginnie Wessberg.

Agape Christian Store, which carries "books, bibles, music and more," is also a social hub for Christians. The "more" includes a prayer group which meets at the store at 6 p.m. on the first Saturday of every month.

"We treat our customers like they're family," she said.

Providing the food last weekend were Cancun, Figaro's Pizza, Hesperia Barbecue Ribs and Subway.

Agape Christian Store is at 15550 Main St., Suite B9, Hesperia. For more information, call 948-7700.
