Fido and Fluffy, now know: There's no place like home.

On Saturday, March 15, the City of Hesperia held a Pet Expo at the Hesperia Animal Shelter. Ten lucky dogs and one cat were adopted.

One hundred animals received rabies vaccines and 18 were micro-chipped.

"We're trying to get the word out to the community that these animals are ready for adoption," said city spokewoman Rachel Molina. "It was a good number for the day."

The next Pet Expo will be on Saturday, June 14, at the Hesperia Animal Shelter. The shelter is located at 11011 Santa Fe Avenue.
