I have watched the HUSD board member meetings on the computer since I am disabled for 10 years now. And I have watched every person mostly ladies walk up there and just shake in there shoes from fear of Mr. Kirk and the others. What makes him scare them so much? They are supposed to be for the people of Hesperia and for the kids of the district.

And they sit up there and talk down to everyone and not hear anything they say until it is too late, even the kids talk to them and they have their walls up instantly before the meeting even starts except Mr. McKinney he always has a cool head about things. He always has. He is a kind and just man.

I have known him since my kids were in elementary school and he has never even raised his voice, even when I know he was angry at the kids for being stinkers.

But for Mr. Kirk to sit and bring up the CSEA's presidents death was just sick and disrespectful in a public meeting and to say he is going to clear the room?

It is a public meeting, he has no right to do that and everyone should be heard, the district is in a real crisis and it is a concern nothing should be rushed through. They should not feel threatened by anyone and by the people they are controlling at this point.

There are a lot of jobs at stake and a lot of money at hand. I feel they're not looking at the whole game and the picture, waste is making haste!

As for the Music Program they did not think of all the parents that have spent all that money of instruments and books and lessons, and clothes for the program.

What about the businesses that will lose money if they kill the program in the desert? What is Hesperia Days Parade without the Marching Bands and the music? And at the football games? There is silence! There is no money in that and no spirit in anything again.

So they are going to put more fear in something more than anything they have ever done than this! There will be anger in all the parents and there community will suffer more loss. We need to look at them as just people sitting on a chair holding papers not billy clubs. They have no real power just microphones and loud voices that's all.

But they do think they hold too much power and not enough kindness towards they fellow man and woman and co-workers. They need to talk to them and not down at them. And we need to talk to them and not fear them.
