Two Hesperia teenagers were arrested Thursday night, accused of breaking into cars at a local apartment complex.

At approximately 11:49 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department deputies arrived at the parking lot of an apartment complex at the intersection of C Avenue and Muscatel Street, where a witness had reported seeing two male subjects breaking into parked vehicles.

When the deputies arrived, the suspects were no longer at the scene, but juveniles matching the witness' description were located in a field at the corner of Sultana Street and E Avenue.

The pair were arrested on charges of vehicle burglary and booked at Apple Valley Juvenile Detention Center.
