What is wrong with scientists these days? The too-liberal scientific community seems bent on finding explanations for everything through nature, and what they can observe or speculate on, and denying God and His Divine creation in the process.

Everything from evolution to the "Big Bang" theory for the origin of the universe and Earth itself seems to be fair game for modern scientists. Is the scientific community controlled by Satan?

It perplexes - and angers - me that these hings are being promoted on television, magazines, and taught in the public schools. Even the National Geographic Society (I am a long-standing member) "pushes" these theories. I am even considering ending my membership. A number of years ago, the liberal Time magazine even declared God is dead.

One example is that God created the Heavens and the Earth and that He created mankind in His own image. The proof is found in the Holy Bible, God's Holy word to mankind, and the world's best-selling book. Read Genesis 1 and you'll see for yourself. And it is all the proof we require. There is no conclusive proof otherwise. The scientific community is denying it's own "scientific method" in declaring otherwise.

It would be far, far better if scientists would be willing to accept what God says in the Bible. And then they would have time to devote their energies to things that do matter!

For anyone who is interested, I will be teaching a six-part seminar titled "Science and the Bible" beginning in October. The seminar is being sponsored by Hesperia Community Church. It will be held from approximately 7 to 9 p.m. in the Club House in the C-2 building on the Hesperia Senior Campus, 17583 Sultana St. (one block east of I Ave.), beginning on Oct. 23 and continuing on Nov. 13, Dec. 11 and Jan. 8 and 22, 2009. We will not be meeting on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. All are welcome. Call me at 244-2140 for information.
