A total of five people were injured last Wednesday night after a driver traveling west on Mojave Street in a Chevrolet Cavalier apparently failed to stop for a stop sign and crashed into a Ford Mustang heading north on E Avenue. Following the 6 p.m. collision, three people were airlifted to San Bernardino-area hospitals. The other two were taken by ambulance to area hospitals, according to news reports. All of the Cavalier's five passengers were injured while those in the Mustang appeared to not have any injuries requiring immediate medical attention. The sheriff's Major Accident Investigation Team is conducting an investigation into the accident.
