The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors' Thursday, Jan. 22 meeting to consider the removal of Assessor Bill Postmus will be streamed live via the Internet.

The meeting will begin at 1 p.m.

The move comes a week after Postmus was arrested on drug-related charges. He was released the same day.

According to the agenda, "On Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, the Assessor's arrest for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia shocked both County residents and the members of the Board. Given these startling recent events, the Board needs to evaluate its options whether to remove the Assessor from office."
