I am a tenured teacher working for HUSD.  Recently, I was informed that I am likely to receive a RIF notice.  When I asked my union what they planned to do to save my job, I was informed that they were waiting.  They are waiting on the state budget, etc.  As we approach the March 15th deadline for RIF's, I expect the union to which I pay dues to act on my behalf.  I would like to see a well structured ballot with job saving options offered, now.  It is also my understanding that there are at least 6 days available for negotiation with district, and yet nothing has been done.

I would like to challenge Jim Pace to get off his seat and act on my behalf or refund all of our union dues.  Those with the most seniority are no more important than those with the least.
