The Hesperia Unified School District is now accepting special open enrollment applications for Oak Hills High School for students who are currently in grades 8, 9, or 10 for the 2009-2010 school year. The open enrollment process allows students who live within the attendance boundaries of one school in the District to transfer enrollment to another school in the District. This process also applies to students who are currently attending private schools and wish to enroll in the Hesperia Unified School District for the 2009-2010 school year. Approved transfer students will begin attending Oak Hills High School on August 10, 2009, which is the first official day of the 2009-2010 school year.

Applications may be obtained at either the Hesperia Unified School District Office, located at 15576 Main Street, between the hours of 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m. or at the school the student currently attends. Completed applications may be turned in to the Director of Student Services Office, located at the Hesperia Unified School District Office, 15576 Main Street, in the Instructional Services Division, no later than 5:00p.m. on February 27, 2009.

Students who wish to participate in athletics and are considering an open enrollment transfer should contact Athletic Director, Darren Goodman, at 244-9898 regarding athletic eligibility.

Students who live outside the boundaries of the Hesperia Unified School District may apply for enrollment in the District by submitting an inter-district application through their local school district's Student Services office. Students applying for an inter-district transfer for the first time, who wish to remain eligible for participation in C.I.F. athletics, must submit their application no later than February 27, 2009. For further information, please contact Tina Gallagher at the District Office at 244-4411, ext. 7233.
