Two men were arrested after a fight outside Gators Sports Bar last Friday.


On March 6, at 10:28 p.m., deputies from the Hesperia station of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department responded to report of a fight at the bar, on 15918 Walnut St.


Deputies Joe Necochea and Alex Zapata learned as the alleged victim left the bar following an altercation inside Gators that evening, he was confronted by Christopher Alford, 29, of Hesperia, and they started fighting.


The victim told the deputies that he was being choked and started to black out but was able to get away from Alford when Scott Hathorn, 25, of Phelan, started hitting him.


The victim's right eye was swollen shut and he required 10 stitches to the forehead.


Hawthorn was found to be a member of an outlaw motorcycle gang and was served with a search warrant by Deputy Necochea at his Phelan residence. Both suspects were booked for Assault with Serious Injuries and Participating in a Gang. Both were on parole at the time of their arrest. They were booked at Victor Valley Jail.
