Hesperia Unified School District superintendent Mark McKinney last week invited community members to participate in an online survey via a recorded message.

Answers to the survey will help the district in its decision-making process regarding school and state budget issues, he said. The survey consists of 13 questions. The following is a sampling:

* Eliminate regular education transportation for all grades.
* Eliminate secondary education transportation for all grades.
* Charge transportation fees of $1 per trip.
* Charge Activity Fees for extra curricular transportation services.
* Have Assistant Principals share two schools (Elementary)
To participate in the survey, log onto www.hesperia.org.
* Reduce elementary school music program.
* Offer elementary music program after school and pay a minimal fee.
* Eliminate Class Size Reduction in grades 1 - 3.
* Pass a Parcel Tax or a Bond to cover CSR, Student Activities, Transportation encroachment, and Facility Needs.
