A 12-year-old girl who was missing since Monday was found safe on Tuesday after spending the night with three homeless people in a nearby field.


 




Leandra Diorio, who had her family cat in tow, was found after being spotted by an anonymous man in the area of Main Street and E Avenue on Tuesday morning. She was found soon after. During the investigation it was discovered she had spend the night in a field with three homeless people.


 






Leandra Diorio was brought into the Hesperia Station with her cat and reunited with her family. The girl left home voluntarily and was unharmed.


 



 The three homeless people were brought in to the Hesperia Station for interviews and released.


 




The girl had left her home in the 8200 block of C Avenue on Monday carrying a small amount of clothing and the family cat.
