Just recently, I became informed that on September 8th President Obama will address the children of our country on national television. Now, truthfully folks, I don't know about you, but when have you ever heard of a president of the United States of America specifically addressing the children of our nation? For what possible reason would the president want to discuss any subject matter of real substance with either your children or my grand children? Surely it can't have anything to do with global warming, health care, "card check" or our ballooning national debt.

So, maybe it will just turn out to be a little innocent one on one chat between our children and President Obama about how they can better serve our country. Who knows, with any luck maybe he'll convince all of kids into becoming little infant Amber Corps. activists within their own families. Honestly folks, what do you think? Am I a little off base here, or doesn't this sound just a little bit weird to you too?

Mr. President, as far as I'm concerned, we don't need you to be talking to our children. To be quite frank about itthat should the parent's job and not the job for any president, especially one that many people find reluctant to put their trust into. President Obama, with all due respect, instead of talking to our children by way of a nation wide television broadcast, why instead don't you talk to us, the taxpayers, through the same medium, who are desperately seeking to hear from you, honest and sincere answers related to some important issues, like the ones listed below:

1. Mr. President, what's your ultimate goal and game plan for America and how do some of your personal and socialist ideologies compare to what our founding fathers had in mind when they wrote the Constitution, in which it clearly calls for "a government, by the people, for the people and of the people?"

2. Mr. President, during your campaign, you said that what this country needs is a "civilian military." Would you please define for us just what a civilian military would be like and why we need it. Also, if we are in need of protection, just who or what is it that we need protection from. In other words, what enemies either now, or in the future do you see that we can't see?

3. Mr. President, you've surrounded yourself with almost three dozen aides, or as some people like to call them "czars." Our questions for you sir, is who are these people, where do they come from, what kind of authority to they have, what is their purpose and do their philosophical beliefs and personal history's reflect a support of the Constitution and our free enterprise system?

It has recently come to my attention that one these aids, Mr. Van Jones, who you've placed in charge the "green movement," is an avowed communist. If this is true, why would you place someone like him and other such people of questionable character like Jeff Jones, Cass Sunsteen and John Holgren to also serve you as aides? Have all of your designated helpers had background checks done on them, or have they some how quietly slipped their way beneath the watchful eye of the F.B.I. who traditionally does background checks upon request by the president? Finally, Mr. President, if some of your appointed aides are radical socialists or even worse, who really don't support the constitution or our free enterprise system, why would you purposely surround yourself with such individuals who could easily influence your decision making process.

No, Mr President we don't need for you to speak to our children, but what we do need, is for you to answer our questions openly and honestly and to tell us just exactly who you really are and what you're really after. Perhaps what we expect from you is a little less effort on trying to be "green" and a lot more effort on being "transparent." After all, wasn't that just another promise that you once made to all of us; something about being "open and transparent?"

Oh, and by the way. Leave our kids alone.
