I want to thank the citizens of Hesperia for their continued support through three failed recall attempts. This last recall in particular should serve as a horrible example of what damage two people, one current board member and one past, can do to a community for purely political reasons. I've cherished the many prayers and words of encouragement I've received over the last few months, and I'm hopeful the destructive actions of a few misguided individuals are behind us for good.

I'm proud of the many accomplishments this School District has experienced during the past few years. Test scores are as a whole are up, new schools have been built to alleviate overcrowding, and new police officers have been hired to increase student safety. Although we should never stop striving to better our schools, we should all take pride in the hard work of the faculty and staff of Hesperia Unified. This district has seen some of its most difficult days, yet through perseverance our schools have improved.

Again, thank you for your support and encouragement. It's clear the citizens of Hesperia stand behind their decision to elect me to the School Board. I do not take this lightly and will continue to serve you to the best of my ability.
