If you've got dozens of marijuana plants in your home, you should probably keep the noise down.

On Tuesday, October 27, shortly before 10 a.m., two San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department deputies arrived on the 8900 block of I Avenue, responding to reports of four people having a fight and banging each others' heads against the wall.

When one deputy knocked on the door of the residence in question, a woman opened the door, spotted the deputy, and attempted to slam the shut. But Deputy Frank Hardin reportedly was able to smell marijuana coming from inside and spotted an open crate of marijuana from the door.

The deputies entered, and they located 61 marijuana plants, according to a departmental report, and kitchen-sized trash bags full of dried marijuana along with baggies ready for sale were also located.

Candace Parsons, 25, of Hesperia, was arrested for cultivation of marijuana and booked at Victor Valley Jail.

Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to call the Hesperia station at 947-1549 or the anonymous WE TIP line at (800) 782-7463.
