Last week, authorities broke up a fracas involving bats and knives.
On Dec. 16, seven Hesperians were arrested for fighting, including two women fighting with each other, and two brothers. San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Deputy Frank Hardin arrived at the 9400 block of Mandarin Ct. and quickly intervened.
Hardin tried stopping the fight by using a Taser on one woman. His shot was interrupted by the other woman getting in the way.
Eventually all seven suspects -- Kenneth Hawkins, 21, Crystal Porter, 26, Sharron Tubbins, 33, Dennis Foster, 22, Latoya Allen, 34, Herman McBroom, 24, Venorastine McBroom, 47 -- were arrested for battery, fighting, and outstanding warrants. All were booked at Victor Valley Jail.
No one was seriously injured in the melee.
