Hesperia Unified School District police officers recovered most of the laptops stolen from Kingston Elementary school over the weekend, but are still searching for some missing items and others involved in the break in, authorities said.

Jose Camargo, 23, was arrested on Tuesday after school police officials along with San Bernardino County Sheriff's Hesperia station deputies and Probation officers served a search warrant at his home, school police authorities said.

Officials learned Camargo and at least one other person broke into Kingston Elementary school and stole 31 laptops and six ceiling-mounted projectors over the weekend, Police Chief Mike Graham said.

Through an investigation, two warrants were served and 25 of the laptops were recovered and Camargo was arrested with only four days left on his parole term, authorities stated.
