We all have friends and relatives that we question why they do what they do and what their true motives are, and Russ Blewett is one of those clowns. He has thrown Lancaster under the bus, and I personally despise the man for many reasons too long to list in this article. Blewett was a longtime family friend of Chris Lancaster's late father, a former assemblyman, and it is that card that Blewett is playing.

I am also a longtime supporter of Chris Lancaster and can personally attest to his honesty. I am originally from San Gabriel Valley and have worked with Chris Lancaster on several issues like the close sure of the BKK dump in West Covina, a class 3 and 4 toxic landfill in a residential community. Another issue was the toilet-to-tap-drinking-water issue where the SGV water master wanted to pump treated sewer water for miles and then recharge it into the drinking water. Chris and I were responsible, along with Miller Brewery and Dr. Forest Tenant, in stopping the project.

Chris also will be the only Republican that will NOT stand up on Harvey Milk Day, unlike our present assembly. He also is with the proud majority of San Bernardino County voters on fighting the proposition involving the same gender marriage ban. I also will be trying to get the Riley recall off the ground and have asked for open support from Bentley, the Voglers, Mayor Smith, Bosacki, Barb Stanton, Chris Lancaster, Ken Hunter and Eric Stone for Congress, and we will see who the stand up people really are. We all know what Riley is and what he stands for and having grandchildren who are in the HUSD district, I have a strong vested interest. The unsuccessful recall I hosted on Postmus might wind up having the same results of the Riley -- recall www.recallriley.com -- that I am attempting to get support for but it is up to the shakers and makers of the High Desert and we will see who has the backbone and stomach to do what is needed to be done.

As for raising taxes at that time in history, Peter Wilson had just raided the city coffers and Chris was trying to keep the services to the public open. Chris has also taken a pledge to not raise taxes and will proudly notarize a statement to that effect.

I am a community activist and have been for decades. I ask only for what's right for the people and do not receive anything for what I do or ever have or will. I also remember that after I got out of prison for two years on phony terrorist threat charges related to the BKK closure issue, Chris was the only one who was there for me when I got out. I remember after working out at the Bull Dog gym in Covina together he would often buy me breakfast when I was flat broke. He has something that no other candidate brings to the table besides the greedy Russ Blewett, and that is creditability, honor and integrity.

I also have been working with Ken Hunter for assembly, and so far have found him a close runner up to Chris. Please do not get me started on Riley. ... As for your statement, Blewett and Lancaster, in my opinion, are both carpetbaggers attempting to subvert the High Desert's electoral prerogative. Blewett, yes, you are absolutely correct, but as for Chris. absolutely not. Remember our district has been so divided that the Assembly district covers an area that boggles the mind. Chris is not responsible for that and for that mean-spirited opinion you are the problem with the High Desert not the solution. You also assume -- remember what happens when you assume. The bottom line is Lancaster or Hunter are the clear choices for the smart voices.

I declare this under penalty of perjury and would be glad to polygraph all the information that I have shared in this blog, You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
