Hesperians might want to spend Saturday indoors, watching TV.

The Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District has advised that they expect ozone levels in Hesperia to exceed 100 on the Air Quality Index rating on Saturday, June 5, between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m.

AQI levels between 101 and 150 are considered unhealthy for sensitive individuals, the MDAQMD is advising active residents and residents with respiratory problems like asthma to avoid prolonged outdoor exertion and people with heart and lung disease to minimize all outdoor activity.
