The "Fun & Frisky Hesperia Hattitudes", put on there fourth Red Hat Hoot. It was held in Hesperia at the, Foremost Terrace Room. 290 red hat women representing forty one chapters, drove to the High Desert on Wednesday morning. Arriving in groups not only from every Town in the High Desert but as far as Bishop, Orange County, Yucaipa, Redlands, San Dimas, Rialto, Rancho Cucamonga, Corona, Palm Springs, Alhambra and the list goes on.


They came to participate in there favorite sports... Dressing up in there finest purple attire, showing off there Bling jewelry and wearing there fancy hats. Visiting and meeting new Red Hat sisters, shopping, dancing, eating and being entertained.


They had plenty of all of the above. The room was full of clothes, hats, jewelry and red hat accessories to purchase. The dance floor stayed full as the ladies danced the afternoon away, that is when they weren't enjoying the surprise entertainment.


The ladies loved dancing to our return entertainer from Victorville, David Snow. Our MC was Barbara Ormsby entertainer from Silver Lakes. Kathy Bee from Huntington Beach sang three of her red hat sing along songs from her new CD.


Palm Springs Follies representatives, Dolores and Shari brought beautiful Head Dress displays, from the Follies Show.


The big surprise was having the, "Victorian Red Hatters" entertain us with there costumes and outrageous hats designed by Shawn Lochridge of Covina.


The title of there show was "Fashions Through The Ages" They dressed as, Cave Woman, Victorian, 1920's, 30's, 40's, 50's the future and a showgirl. Different music was played as they danced down the floor.


There group has performed at many functions in the last four years.


Centerpieces of Barbie Dolls each differently designed by some of the Fun & Frisky girls were won. One lady at each table won a door prize. Everyone was presented a red bracelet.
