May 8

* A resident was arrested for assault near the intersection of Main Street and 8th Avenue.
* A man stole beer and chips from a convenience store near the intersection of Main Street and C Avenue, before fleeing in a gray Scion.
* Two men were arrested for being drunk in public after they were kicked out of Gators bar. When they were refused reentry, they reportedly claimed to be armed.
* A vehicle was burglarized behind DJ's Sports Bar.
* A woman was arrested for cruelty to a child on the 10200 block of Portland Avenue after she reportedly smoked a "cool" -- a cigarette laced with methamphetamine -- with her 14-year-old son.
* A business was burglarized overnight on the 10400 block of Catalpa Street.
* A male motorist was arrested near the intersection of Walnut Street and 7th Avenue for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level in excess of .08 percent.
* A residence on the 10700 block of 8th Avenue was burglarized during the daytime. A laptop was stolen. The thieves apparently entered through a back door of the home.
* A business on the 9500 block of C Avenue was burglarized. Cash and gold were stolen.

May 9

* A blue 1991 Honda Accord was stolen overnight on the 17100 block of Donert Street.
* A quad was stolen on the 8500 block of Coyote Trail.
* A residence on the 1400 block of Appleton Street was burglarized during the day. Electronics and jewelry were stolen.
* A residence on the 16500 block of Cajon Street was burglarized. A witness saw an unknown Hispanic male and two black males leaving the residence.
* A man was arrested for being drunk in public in Timberlane Park. At the time of the arrest, he was laying between two cars in the parking lot.
* A man was arrested on the 9300 block of Ponderosa Avenue for resisting an officer.
* A man was arrested on the 15600 block of Ranchero Road for the attempted rape of a 17-year-old girl.

May 10

* A residence was burglarized on the 15500 block of Sequoia Street. A weed trimmer was stolen.
* A residence on the 14800 block of Farmington Street was burglarized. Jewelry and a laptop computer were stolen.
* A vehicle was stolen on the 16400 block of Olive Street.
* A 19-year-old man was arrested on the 16500 block of Muscatel Street for having oral sex with a 15-year-old girl.
* A residence on the 11300 block of Mariposa Road was burglarized and tools stolen.
* A residence was burglarized on the 9100 block of Piedra Avenue.
* A residence on the 15100 block of Pendleton Street was burglarized.

May 11

* A dark green 1997 Honda Accord was stolen overnight on the 9100 block of Ashwood Court.
* A resident was arrested on the 15900 block of Pine Street for possession of a controlled substance.
* A black 2005 Kawasaki quad was stolen overnight from a residence on the 9400 block of Tamarisk Avenue.
* A man was arrested for being drunk in public at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel.
