The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Hesperia Police Activities League and the Hesperia Recreation and Parks District will beholding its first golf tournament on May 21 and they are looking for golfers.


The tournament will be held at the Hesperia Golf Course located at 17970 Bangor Avenue and will benefit the Hesperia station's PAL program. The group works with at-risk youth through a successful boxing program and the money will go to teens and children compete in various competitions, sheriff's officials said.


There will be a variety of contest during the tournament including a putting, longest drive and hole in one contests. Door prizes will also be given out.


Tickets are $75 and will include the cart, green fees and lunch.
