SULTANA 20, OAK HILLS 45: Oak Hills had five scoring plays of at least 37 yards, and the defense bottled up a potent Sultana running game in a 45-20 win in front of a packed house at Oak Hills Stadium.



HESPERIA CHRISTIAN 12, UPLAND CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 7: At Rancho Cucamonga, third-string quarterback Brennan Dorsey scored a third-quarter rushing touchdown to lead the Patriots to its first Agape League win of the season in a defensive battle Friday. Starting quarterback Keifer Lux was suspended from the game for breaking team rules, and backup Timmy McCloud injured his ankle in the second quarter. Dorsey played the entire second half, rushing for 53 yards on 12 carries.

APPLE VALLEY 5, OAK HILLS 13: At Oak Hills, the Bulldogs' doubles teams dropped just one set in a Mojave River League win Wednesday.



HESPERIA 1, SERRANO 17: At Phelan, the Diamondbacks routed the Scorpions for a Mojave River League win Wednesday.



OAK HILLS 11, HESPERIA 7: At Hesperia, the Bulldogs shuffled up its lineup a bit, and they pulled out a tight victory over the Scorpions in a Mojave River League match Tuesday.

APPLE VALLEY CHRISTIAN 0, HESPERIA CHRISTIAN 3: At Hesperia, Sierra Murphy contributed nine of the Patriots' 22 aces and also had five kills to lead HCS to a 25-10, 25-12 and 25-22 sweep over the Warriors on Thursday.



APPLE VALLEY 3, OAK HILLS 2: The Apple Valley volleyball team topped Oak Hills in five sets on Wednesday to grab sole possession of second place in the Mojave River League.



VICTOR VALLEY CHRISTIAN 3, HESPERIA CHRISTIAN 0: The Victor Valley Christian and Hesperia Christian volleyball teams have developed quite a rivalry over the years, and this season isn't much different. After the Patriots won in a closely contested five-set match on Sept. 22 at home, the Royals came back and swept HCS in three sets on Tuesday 25-11, 25-23 and 25-15.



OAK HILLS 3, HESPERIA 2: At Hesperia, the Bulldogs dropped the first set, but came back to beat the Scorpions in five 20-25, 25-19, 25-12, 17-25 and 15-5 on Tuesday.



SULTANA 1, APPLE VALLEY 4: The Apple Valley volleyball team beat Sultana in their third annual Dig Pink match to benefit the Side-Out Foundation, which helps unite volleyball players and coaches to raise breast cancer awareness.
