Hundreds of first edition novels by popular authors and a selection of needlecraft books, including quilting, embroidery, crochet, knitting and clothing construction, will be featured at the Hesperia Branch Library book sale for April.

The Hesperia Friends of the Library group is selling these items at $5 each to support library programming and to raise $50,000 to purchase new public-access computers for the branch.

The sale will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday and will continue throughout the month during library open hours.

The Hesperia Branch Library is at 9650 7th Ave., next to City Hall. For additional information, call the library at (760) 244-4898.
