HESPERIA While serving a warrant for a home invasion robbery Thursday, deputies found and arrested a man wanted for a murder out of Los Angeles County, San Bernardino County Sheriff's Hesperia station officials said.

Gabriel Gerrie, 24, of Hesperia was arrested for an outstanding murder warrant Thursday afternoon as deputies and SMASH Gang Team conducted a warrant service at a home in the 17800 block of Main Street, Susan Rose, spokeswoman for the Hesperia station, said.

While at the home, deputies discovered several stolen items and arrested Armando Raphael Garcia, 24, for possession of stolen property and for an outstanding warrant for spousal abuse out of Riverside County, booking records indicate.

A second man, later identified as Gerrie, was also at the home during the investigation, Rose said. When deputies checked Gerrie for any outstanding warrants, they learned Gerrie was wanted for murder by Los Angeles County Sheriff's investigators.

Little information was available on the Los Angeles murder investigation.

County court documents show Gerrie only has one vehicle code violation on his record.

Both Gerrie and Garcia were booked into West Valley Detention Center.
