A Victorville automotive dealership is partnering with the Hesperia Chamber Foundation to help Hesperia students go to college.

Victorville Motors announced this month a series of free test-ride events at several locations in Hesperia as part of its "RAM it Forward" program. The dealer will donate up to $25 on behalf of each person who takes a free test-ride in a Dodge Ram pick-up truck at one of the following events:

Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Super Target, 12795 Main St.;

2 to 5:30 p.m. April 2 at Sultana High School, 17311 Sultana St.;

11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 21 at Hesperia Chamber Meeting at Courtyard by Marriott, 9619 Mariposa Road;

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 26, Oak Hills Car Show at Oak Hills High School, 7625 Cataba Road;

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 26 at Cars, Kids and Cures at Hesperia Civic Plaza, 15833 Smoke Tree Street.

The program kicked off on March 14 at the chamber's weekly coffee meeting and continued on March 15 at Hesperia High School. Between those two events, 149 test rides were completed.

The program aims to raise up to $30,000 for scholarships for Hesperia, Sultana and Oak Hills high schools.
