My name is SGT Coralee Dresher. I am an American Soldier serving in Iraq. I want to thank the American people, specifically my mother, Rhonda Dresher, my aunt, uncle, and two cousins in Hesperia, CA for their support of the military and what we are doing over here. I attended and graduated from Hesperia High School in 2003, and shortly after I joined the Army. This is my second deployment to Iraq and I have a better understanding of what we are doing here. The American people thank us all the time for what we are doing and this is my opportunity to thank all of you for your support while deployed into combat.

Over here morale is a key asset to our way of living. Mail, e-mail, and talking to loved ones back home keeps our spirits high while away from home. It is the little things that we appreciate so much more, and tend to look at life in a whole new way. We learn to go without, when in America we took for granted, I guess what I am trying to say is we miss our home land, but have a mission to accomplish before we will see it again. To everyone no matter if they support the war or not, I know they support their troops. Thank you to all the organizations across America taking their time out for us, because the little stuff does count.
