Ever have a large moving or estate sale and despite all preparations, agonizing and stress, had few people show up and made little money? There is a better way.
Bill and Juanita Weis of Diversified Appraisals and Liquidations have the expertise to successfully conduct such sales - particularly large estate sales. The Weis' have a mailing list of over 300 potential customers who are notified before every sale.
"There are two reasons for allowing someone else to conduct your sale," Juanita says, "More money in spite of the percentage and freedom from the related stress."
Although they primarily conduct estate sales in the Victor Valley, they occasionally accept assignments out of the area. Their fee is based on a percentage of the receipts.
Juanita is an Accredited Personal Property Appraiser. She's also a member of the Appraisers National Association, an international appraisers association that ensures a profession code of conduct. Juanita can give the customer a formal, written, impartial appraisal on the value of the property based on research in the appropriate market, or a verbal evaluation, "just for your information."
Bill (a retired Deputy with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with 32 years experience in law enforcement) and Juanita have been happily married for 35 years and live in Hesperia. The Weis' have been antique dealers for 26 years and sell out of Elderly Things Antiques in the Redlands Galleria. They pride themselves on not "pre-buying" their sales. They've done several verbal evaluations for me and they are good. Call them at their office at 244-9152. Or call them on their cell phone at 953-0941. You'll be glad you did!
