Authorities are seeking the drivers of two vehicles who hit a motorcyclist Friday night, one of them dragging her 100 feet behind their vehicle.
Friday, Oct. 30, at approximately 7:15 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department deputies were called to the area of 5th Avenue and Olive Street, where a motorcyclist driving a Honda 50 dirt bike was struck by a dark blue or black sports utility vehicle. The motorcyclist was hit head-on and dragged approximately 100 feet, coming to rest on the side of the road.
Moments later, the motorcyclist was hit by another vehicle, this one a white Ford F-series pick-up truck with a camper shell.
Neither vehicle stopped and witnesses saw both fleeing west down Olive from 5th. Authorities believe the SUV that first struck the motorcyclist should have sustained damage to the front passenger side.
The victim sustained traumatic injuries and was flown out by Mercy Air to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment.
