Hesperia Rotary will hold their annual "Cowplopapalooza" event Saturday at Hesperia Junior High School. A cow will roam a grid laid on the school's field, and participants will bet on what squares she will "plop" on.

Plots are available for $5 per plop. The first plop wins $250, the second wins $500, the third wins $750 and the fourth $1,250. Owners do not need to be present to win. There will also be separate drawings taking place during Cowplopapalooza, where buyers must be present to win.

Proceeds benefit Hesperia Jr. High and Hesperia Rotary projects.

A farmers market and other vendor booths will be open, with all proceeds going to support Hesperia schools.

The event starts at 9 a.m. For more information or tickets, call Suzanne Edson at (760) 961-4046.
