Three special events will be held at the Hesperia Branch Library this week, as part of their summer reading program:


Musician Craig Newton will have preschool through 6th grade students "Rockin' and Rollin' Across the Galaxy!" in a free singalong Tuesday, July 3. Newton will perform at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m, in the Community Room. Due to limited seating, tickets are required. The free tickets are available on Tuesday.


A free "Hooked on Crocheting" needlecraft class for adults will be held on Thursday, July 5, at 3:30 p.m.


Teenagers are invited to a free "Nightscape" t-shirt decorating event on Thursday, July 5, at 4 p.m.


The library also has an ongoing "read for rewards" program, with separate categories for children, teens and adults. Teens and adult participants can win a Kindle Fire.
