  •  HESPERIA — After a hungry staff at the Louisiana Cajun Seafood House did a test run with family and friends, the restaurant is just about ready to start serving Southern-style Louisiana seafood.
“Everybody that we served loved our classic seafood,” said Louiana Salazar, social director of the restaurant. “Even the ones that don’t like seafood actually like it. Looks like we’re ready for business.”
Salazar said owner Bill Webb, 39, is the creator of the Bayou-inspired eatery, which is scheduled to open at 3 p.m. Aug. 6 with a 10-percent discount for customers on opening day.
Webb expressed his gratitude to his team, Empire Graphics, Omega Designs and Wauhob Construction for “the amazing job they did” to get the store ready.
Salazar said Webb and his support and construction team spent countless hours turning a 1,200-square-foot building, located on Main Street and Maple Avenue in Hesperia, into a Cajun paradise.
Besides serving crayfish, crab, lobster, catfish, Cajun hot wings and other Southern delicacies, the new restaurant will unveil its new Bottoms Up Draft Beer Dispensing System, which Salazar says is the first of its kind in San Bernardino County.
The dispenser fills four cups of beer from the bottom of the cup and uses a specially designed magnet to seal in the beer.
Josh Springer, CEO of GrinOn Industries and inventor of the dispensing system, said the idea came to him in a daydream in early 2008 in Washington state. Just four days later, Springer had a functioning prototype in his garage and the rest is history, according to the company’s website.
The Louisiana Cajun Seafood House is located at 14466 Main St., Unit 103 in Hesperia. For more information, call 760-244-2323 or visit www.facebook.com/LouisianaCajunSeafoodHouse.
