    Hesperia United Methodist Women will present their Annual Tea Saturday (Aug. 2) from noon to 4 p.m. at the church, 18623 Main St. Come help celebrate the “Mardi Gras” theme.     Roberts Liardon will speak at Believers House of Grace
    Roberts Liardon, author, public speaker, spiritual leader, church historian and humanitarian, will speak at Believers House of Grace, 10178 I Ave., Unit C in Hesperia, at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
    Liardon preached his first public sermon at the age of 13. He was mentored by Oral Roberts and Lester Sumrall. He is not only a recognized church historian specializing in the Pentecostal and Charismatic movements, but he is much in demand as a speaker, writer and mentor to pastors and leaders.

    Hesperia United Methodist Church presents ‘Elvis’
    David E Prezley will present his very popular “Three Faces of Elvis” concert on Aug. 16 at Hesperia United Methodist Church, 18623 Main Street. He will be featuring Rich Butler and Lil Joe-E performing as Elvis from his early years on. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12.

    Believers House of Grace offers Saturday night movies
    Believers House of Grace offers movies Saturday nights at 6:30 p.m. through Aug. 30. This is a free community event and everyone is welcome. Bring your own refreshments.     PSP Sports and more, an outreach Ministry of God’s Word Church in Apple Valley, is seeking sponsorships. The nonprofit corporation is a program for Private-school Satellite Program students and hosts a variety of sports, classes and events throughout the year.
