  • HESPERIA — A 19-year-old Hesperia woman is scheduled to  be arraigned Tuesday after she was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of robbing a liquor store.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials said Odalis Ortiz, 19, of Hesperia, and three juveniles were arrested Saturday at a relative’s home in the 17000 block of Catalpa Street after deputies received a call of a robbery in progress at the Tropicana Liquor store on Main Street near Cottonwood Avenue at around 4:30 p.m.
Sheriff’s officials said the store employee was able to get the license plate of the suspects’ green sedan. The plates were registered to the Catalpa address.
Authorities said Ortiz stole three 12-packs and two 30-packs of beer from the store. She is being held on $100,000 bail at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga on suspected robbery, conspiracy and false imprisonment charges.
