A Hesperia school is planning a couple of fundraisers on Saturday to help support its music program.
The Sultana Band Boosters will present a CPR/first aid certification training class from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at in the band room at Sultana High School. The cost is $50 per person for CPR only or $70 per person for CPR and first aid.
Those who attend should bring a sack lunch. Space is limited, so those wishing to participate should reserve a space by visiting the Sultana band room, calling Joe Constantino at 760-947-6777, ext. 4278 or Julie Lord at 760-947-5849 or sending an email to lord92345@aol.com.
The Band Boosters will also host a recycling drive and “Fill-the-Drum” in the school’s parking lot at G Avenue and Sultana Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The redemption funds collected from the recycled items, as well as the fees collected for the CPR/first aid training class, will go to support Sultana’s music program.
