Unknown suspects are identified by race only for the purpose of aiding identification.

July 1, 2008
* A man was assaulted at his home on the 16300 block of Live Oak Street. The suspect came to his house, looking for his estranged wife, but when the resident refused to let him inside, the suspect then punched him in the face repeatedly. The victim needed 16 stitches and had parts of his lip removed.
* A motorist on the 8100 block of I Avenue was arrested for having a blood alcohol level in excess of .08 percent.
