Eleventh annual Hesperia Bakers/DCB Basketball Camp

Boys and girls ages 7 to 12 are invited to participate in the 11th Annual Hesperia Bakers/DCB Basketball Camp from July 6 through 10. Camp will be held at the Hesperia High School gym located at 9898 Maple Avenue from 9 a.m. to noon.

Children will learn basketball fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, free throws, defense, team play and sportsmanship. There will also be a shooting and free throw contest, a two-on-two and three-on-three tournament.

Camp is $90 per player and includes a t-shirt and meal. Reserve your space today by calling Coach Lugo at 953-8125 (cell) or 243-5519 (home). Registration fee is due on first day of camp.

What a great program for kids to do while on summer vacation. The fee is steep for us because we are both out of work. We are trying to find events or programs that are free to keep our 12 year old busy for the summer. Our 12 year old doesnt think watching mom and dad look for work as a good vacation. I hope you get a good turnout and the kids have a good time.
