March 4, 2008

A commentary in the March 4, 2008, Hesperia Star erroneously said that supporters of the Hesperia Unified School District recall were attempting to get the question of recalling three school board members on the June ballot. Recall signatures are due after the deadline for issues to be placed on the June ballot, and if recall supporters are successful in collecting the signatures needed, a special election on the issue would be called. The Hesperia Star apologizes for the error.

And Peter omits the fact that should this make it to the ballot it will cost the school district 200,000 dollars of the children's money. The allegations of the recallers are false but have the potential of being very costly.
