I am confused. Didn't the School Board and the District of HUSD say at last Board Meeting that the saftey of the students was utmost concern and important to them? How important is it when there has been allegations of improper sexual contact with female students by two teachers at Sultana High School and the two alleged teachers are still working and having contact with not only the alleged victims but other female students? On top of this, the parents of all of the Sultana studnets have not been notified of this. In the past the procedure of the District when allegations were made was the staff member involved was put on paid Administrative Leave, until the out come of the investigation, and the parents at the school site were notitified. None of this has been done. WHY? The teacher is still teaching and the walk on Coach is still coaching. Another question is why it took the recently retired Board Member, Bruce Minton, to report the allegations to the Hesperia Police Department and not the District which is required by State Law? The current Board Members are not blameless in this matter also. They have known about this for at least a month and have not yet, to this date, instructed the Superindentent to follow District Policy and remove these teachers until the investigation is done and the out come is known. Maybe the only way this will happen is that the parents of Sultana students call the District with their out rage of the lack of concern for the saftey of their children. A much more effective way is to come to the Board Meetings and question both the Cabinet and School Board Members as to why they are not following District Policy and most importantly WHY the saftey of their children not their utmost concern.
