Unknown suspects are identified by race only for the purpose of aiding identification.

January 20, 2008

* An unknown suspect shot four to five rounds at a residence, striking a parked truck nearby.

* A motorist was arrested near the intersection of Main Street and C Avenue for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level above .08 percent.

* An air conditioning unit was stolen from a business on the 18500 block of Ranchero Road.

* A vehicle was burglarized on the 11600 block of I Avenue -- or perhaps stripped. The vehicle's two front seats, the stereo, battery, exhaust system, door panels and some wiring were stolen.

* A motorcycle was stolen from outside Characters bar.

* A 2007 White GMC Sierra was stolen overnight from a driveway on the 11100 block of E Avenue.

* A motorist was arrested near the intersection of Main Street and 3rd Avenue for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level above .08 percent.

* Electronics were stolen when a residence on the 19200 block of Madrone Street was burglarized.

January 21, 2008

* Two men were arrested after they attempted to rob the In-N-Out restaurant on Bear Valley Road. The pair fled in a vehicle but was apprehended after the driver crashed the vehicle into a telephone pole.

* A construction site on the 12700 block of Main Street was burglarized.

* Tools were stolen from a residential yard on the 18700 block of Albany Street.

* Two black male adults kicked in the door of a residence on the 17600 block of Fairburn Street and attempted to steal a plasma television set. The resident chased the pair off, and they fled in a dark green Oldsmobile.

* A residence on the 17000 block of Eucalyptus Street was burglarized.

* A residence on the 15700 block of Mauna Loa Street was burglarized. Tequila and electronics were stolen.

* A motorist was arrested near the intersection of Willow Street and Oakwood Avenue after a traffic stop. The motorist was a parolee, and a search of his vehicle turned up a stolen laptop computer, which he said had been a gift.

* A motorist was arrested near the intersection of Cottonwood Avenue and Orange Street for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level above .08 percent.

January 22, 2008

* A person was arrested near the intersection of Walnut and Main Streets for possession of dangerous drugs.

* A white 1989 Ford F-350 pick-up truck was stolen overnight from a residential driveway on the 14300 block of Tioga Street.

* A business on the 9200 block of C Avenue was robbed, with $900 taken from the cash register and an invoice voided on the store's computer.

* A residence on the 15800 block of Muscatel Street was burglarized.

* A vehicle on the 14300 block of Nantucket Street was burglarized.

* A white male adult smashed all the windows of a vehicle parked on the 17100 block of Bear Valley Road, and eluded pursuit by witnesses.

* A motorist was arrested near the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Bear Valley Road for driving under the influence.

January 23, 2008

* A man was arrested on the 8600 block of C Avenue for possession of a loaded sawed off shotgun and a Crown Royal bag with five additional shotgun shells.

* A blue 2007 Toyota Camry was stolen overnight on the 13400 block of Morningside Street.

* A construction site near the intersection of Mariposa Road and Live Oak Street was burglarized.

* A mountain bike was stolen overnight on the 9100 block of Santa Fe Avenue East.

* A person was arrested for stalking near the intersection of Mariposa Road and Main Street.

* A man was arrested near the intersection of 7th Avenue and Walnut Street for burglarizing a vehicle -- witnesses detained him until deputies arrived.

* A residence on the 18500 block of Lilac Street was burglarized. Jewelry and electronics were taken.

* A beige 1992 Ford F-350 pick-up truck was stolen outside Characters bar.

January 24, 2008

* A man was arrested for felony spousal abuse against his pregnant girlfriend near the intersection of Main Street and C Avenue.

* A motorist was arrested near the intersection of Main Street and I Avenue for driving under the influence of drugs and an outstanding $10,000 warrant.

* A motorist was arrested near the intersection of Main Street and G Avenue for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level above .08 percent.

* A black 1989 Toyota Camry was stolen overnight from a driveway on the 17900 block of Main Street.

* A motorist was arrested near the intersection of Santa Fe Avenue West and Hesperia Road for being under the influence of drugs.

* A female motorist was arrested near the intersection of 5th Avenue and Olive Street for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level above .08 percent.
