Brennley Brown has already shown she can capture America’s heart singing a country tune. Now she’s proven she can do it with other genres too.

Coming off a mesmerizing rendition of Joni Mitchell’s “River” during Monday night’s episode of “The Voice,” the Apple Valley native awaited the results 24 hours later to see if she had received enough votes to move on.

Much like the week before, she didn’t have to wait long.

The fourth artist announced as moving on, the 15-year-old rising star officially joined the top 10 on NBC’s hit singing competition Tuesday night, continuing a magical journey that she recently described as “surreal” during an interview with the Daily Press.

Starting with a field of 46,000 people who auditioned to be on “The Voice,” Brown has overcome her age — she is the youngest remaining contestant on the show — to become a crowd and judge favorite, receiving standing ovations seemingly every time she takes the stage.

The competition will only get harder for Brennley, as next week two contestants will be eliminated.

The next episode of “The Voice” is scheduled for 8 p.m. Monday on NBC.
