Beef 'O' Brady's celebrates grand opening in Hesperia

Special to the Hesperia Star

The first West Coast location of a national sports bar chain is now open in Hesperia.

The restaurant, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, is the latest of the franchise’s 214 locations across the country. Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, based in Tampa, Fla., aims to differentiate itself from multitudes of other sports bars by being family oriented.

“We’re going to be the place where families, local sports groups and friends can come together and enjoy great food in a dynamic environment,” said local owner, Liborio Alvarez, in a news release. “There’s a strong sense of excitement that’s built into each Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, and the energy at our new restaurant will be unmatched.”

The Hesperia location, which opened July 30 at 12728 Main St., is customized in a number of different ways, including updated color schemes, a sports ticker and a community board at the front door.

Despite the restaurant’s name, it is best known for its chicken wings. Other menu items include St. Louis-style ribs, grilled shrimp and fajitas.

Beef O’ Brady’s is open from 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

“We’ve been doing very, very well for no advertising, no promoting,” said Jan Eisler, general manager, over the phone. “My favorite thing so far has been just meeting guests and guests interacting and inviting them and letting them know about us.”
