Two Hesperia sex offenders missing

Authorities are looking for two registered sex offenders who had told police they were living in Hesperia, but are now at unknown locations.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department announced Monday, Nov. 30, that convicted sex offenders Christopher David Beavers, 28, and Jesse James Long, Jr., 35, are missing. During compliance checks by deputies, neither man was found to be living at the location they had registered with the Hesperia sheriff's station.

Beavers is 6'2", 300 lbs., with brown hair, blue eyes, an "IE" tattoo on his chest and a dragon tattoo on his left arm. He is known to frequent San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, Grand Terrace and Palm Springs. He has been off the official grid since Nov. 18.

He was previously convicted of committing lewd or lascivious acts with a child less than 14 years of age.

Long is 6'1", 215 lbs., with blond hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo on his upper right arm.

He was previously convicted of attempted offense of sending harmful matter over the Internet with the intent of seducing a minor.
