Storm hits Hesperia — again

Flood-prone areas are hardest hit; drivers urged to use caution

Once again a Pacific-based storm has hit Hesperia, causing flooding, road closures and detours and a general soggy mess.

Drivers are urged to use caution.

According to the National Weather Service, showers are expected through Saturday night. On Sunday, a shower or two are expected with partly cloudy skies. The rain should subside by Sunday night.

Monday is expected to be mostly sunny in Hesperia.

This is either a serious contradiction stating that we have been hit by a major storm and it will be mostly sunny today or a delayed reaction from last Saturday. Which is it? Is this simply a case of premature journalism?
