207 marijuana plants seized on Willow

Dog complaint leads authorities to indoor pot farm

Staff Writer

More than 200 marijuana plants were seized from a house on Willow Street.

San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department deputies were at a house on the 18600 block of Willow Street Sunday night after 8 p.m. responding to a report that dogs at the location had attacked a neighbor.

While at the location, one deputy noticed the odor of marijuana and heavy condensation on the windows, consistent with the indoor cultivation of marijuana.

Resident Carey Ishikawa, 36, allowed deputies to search the house, where they discovered 207 marijuana plants in three rooms.

Ishikawa was arrested for cultivation of marijuana and booked at Victor Valley Jail.
